Your child may be prescribed medication as part of their treatment. We ask that any requests for repeat prescriptions be made when you collect the last issue of medication from your pharmacy and at a minimum, 14 days before you may run out. Several of the paediatricians only work in the rooms on certain days, and therefore we cannot guarantee that a prescription will be written at short notice. Certain medication can only be prescribed at the time of appointments and within government regulations and therefore cannot be issued after a telephone request.
If a prescription needs to be issued without an appointment, fees will apply.
Should you run out of medication, we will do our best to help you but your family GP may be better placed to help sooner.
